Bess And Her Rabbits

For a long time Bess had wanted a rabbit for
a pet.
One day her father brought home two white
rabbits.
Oh, how glad Bess was!
She ran and got some apples for them to eat.
She named one rabbit Peter and the other Polly.
Uncle Ben told her that he would make a house
for Peter and Polly.
Bess made them a nice bed of hay.
Every day she feeds her pets and gives them
fresh water to drink.
Peter and Polly are very tame.
