Text:
Grandma Gray
A good old soul was Grandma Gray,
All the children loved her well;
She taught them many a pleasant ply,
And fairy tales she liked to tell.
Though she was old, and lone, and
poor,
And had no living kith or kin,
The children came about her door,
And she was glad to let them in.
When she was gone the children came,
And loved to linger near the spot;
Though she was never known to fame,
Good Grandma Gray was ne'er
forgot.
