The ancient Greek drama was a theatrical culture that flourished in ancient Greece from c. 700 BC. Old Master's Coloring Page Index

Sample coloring pages of Old Master's art works from my collection below.
In art history, "Old Master" (or "old master") refers to any painter of skill who worked in Europe before about 1800, or a painting by such an artist. An "old master print" is an original print (for example an engraving or etching) made by an artist in the same period. The term "old master drawing" is used in the same way.
In theory, "Old Master" applies only to artists who were fully trained, were Masters of their local artists' guild, and worked independently, but in practice, paintings produced by pupils or workshops are often included in the scope of the term. Therefore, beyond a certain level of competence, date rather than quality is the criterion for using the term. Read more...

Ancient Pottery from Greece, Tuscany and Rome

Left, Vase of Proto-Attic Type from Vourva.  Center, Melian Ampora (Athens Museum) Right, Pithos from Knossos.
Description of Coloring Pages: A variety of clay pot shapes and types from ancient Greek, Etruscan and Roman peoples. Student may draw traditional patterns or make up their own for coloring exercise. Educators may also cut stencils for students to draw with on "clay" coloring construction paper before using black markers to make designs on top of their "paper pots." An exercise like this one is good to use both before making a miniature clay pot in art class or to also supplement a reading activity about ancient culture in a regular classroom.
